PermaDry MortarProof remains stable for up to 2 years when stored in its original sealed packaging.
Store in a dry environment at temperatures between 0 °C and 30 °C. Protect the product from moisture and humidity.

PermaDry MortarProof should be premixed with the dry cement before adding mortar components and water.
After water is added, mix thoroughly for a minimum of 5 minutes to ensure uniform dispersion of the hydrophobic additive throughout the mortar mixture.
The hydrophobic effect develops progressively as the mortar cures and dries.

PermaDry MortarProof is typically added at a dosage rate of:
0.1% – 0.5% by weight of cement
The exact dosage depends on the level of water repellency required for the specific application.

The presence of additives containing methyl cellulose or other water-retaining agents may reduce the effectiveness of the water-repellent properties. Compatibility testing is recommended when combining with other admixtures.

PermaDry MortarProof has been tested by the accredited laboratory Modena Centro Prove SRL according to UNI EN 480-5, which determines capillary water absorption characteristics in cementitious materials.
