Surface Preparation & Application

For best results, ensure the surface is:

• Clean – free from dust, rust, oil, grease, and any loose particles
• Dry – moisture-free at the time of application
• Sound – structurally stable with no crumbling or delamination

Application Methods:

• Brush
• Spray
• Dip

Apply an even, opaque coat. Allow to dry for a minimum of 2 hours before handling or recoating, depending on ambient conditions.

Physical Form:
Flammable liquid

Dry Film Thickness (DFT):
80–120 microns

Scrub Resistance:

2000 scrubs with only 5-micron DFT loss – exceptional corrosion resistance

Colour:
Clear and 100% tintable to suit project requirements

Thinning (if required):
Reduce viscosity with Xylene, up to a maximum of 20%

Spread Rate:
Approximately 50–150 ml/m², depending on surface type and application thickness  -  A 5 L will cover approximately 33 to 100 square meters

Drying Time:

• Touch Dry: 15 minutes
• Full Cure: 5–7 days

Finish:
Smooth, high-gloss appearance once dry

Cleaning:
Clean tools and equipment with Xylene cleaning solvent

Storage:
Keep sealed and stored at ambient temperature, away from direct sunlight

Flash Point:
Highly flammable – handle with care

2Kind ASPS Hydrophobic ETC is a high-performance coating and should be handled with care:
• Flammable – Keep away from open flames, sparks, or heat sources.
• Ensure proper ventilation during application to avoid vapor build-up.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mouth.
• Wear appropriate protective gear, including gloves and safety eyewear.
• In case of skin contact, rinse immediately with clean water.
